Preaching Schedule

Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians was the first of his Prison Epistles written during his first Roman imprisonment around AD 60. Unlike his other letters, Paul was not addressing any particular problem encountered by the Ephesians. Instead, he wrote to encourage the recipients to have a deeper walk with Christ. The Ephesians appeared to be on the right track in their walk with Christ. But Paul does not want them to be complacent for there is always room for growth. So, he exhorted them to have a deeper appreciation of what God has done for them through Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

No matter how long or how mature you are in the Christian faith, there is always room for growing in Christ. As we go through Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, my prayer is that together we will be “growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of His body, the church” (Ephesians 4:15 NLT).
