Psalm 145 reveals David’s determination to personally extol God daily and forever to influence the next generations (vv. 1-7, 21). This acrostic psalm is the beginning of the ending of the book of Psalms. The last six Psalms are celebrations of God’s greatness— God was praised 46 times! David declared the greatness of God as indescribable and indefinable (v. 3). But it can be experienced through His gracious character and mighty works (vv. 4-21). At GCF South Metro, we celebrate God’s greatness because we continue to anticipate the power of God’s hands and the grace of God’s heart as we extol the name of Jesus Christ, our God and King, forever and ever!
